Skinning Scrollbars, any good tutorials out there?
I am building a website that has been designed to have divs set at a certain height, and any overflow of content is scrollable. The design has a skin for the scroll bar, and the scroll bar is used by a video player, but that is an activeX control so obviously can do more than I can. I know you can change the colours, which only seems to work on IE, and generally looks pretty lame. I have also seen javascript ones which are totally skinnable, but do not work when the user scrolls the mousewheel, and tend to be fiddly and a pita for users to control. So if anyone knows of a scrollbar replacement/reskinning technique, that also works with the mousewheel. I'd be most grateful. |
